INTERJECTIONS : जो शब्द खुशी या गम , डर व हैरानगी जैसे भाव प्रकट करें , Interjections कहलाते हैं ।

( The words that express some sudden feelings or emotions are called interjections . )

Interjection कोई word , phrase और यहाँ तक पूरा sentence भी हो सकता है ।

कुछ Interjections इस प्रकार से हैं -

विस्मयादिबोधक शब्दों की सूची और प्रयोग

1 . Joy ( प्रसन्नता ) के लिए : Hurrah ! , Ha ! Ha ! Hip , Hip , Hurrah ! , जैसे -

Hurrah ! I have passed . Hurrah ! here is the prize .

2 . दुःख ( Sorrow ) के लिए : Alas ! , Ah ! , Ah me ! जैसे -

An ! his friend has deceived him . Alas ! I am undone . Alas ! we have lost the match . Alas ! my sister has failed .

3 . आश्चर्य ( Surprise ) के लिए : Oh ! , What ! , Good God ! , Good heavens ! , जैसे -

Oh ! how beautiful this flower is . Oh ! what a beautiful sight is . What ! my brother has died .

4 . घृणा ( Contempt ) के लिए : Shame ! , Fiel ! , Bosh ! , जैसे -

Fie ! you did it to me . Fie ! you are afraid of him .

5 . अनुमोदन ( Approval / Greetings ) के लिए : Bravo ! , Well done ! , O.K. ! , जैसे -

Bravo ! you fought bravely . Well done , my boy ! Bravo ! you have well done .

6 . संबोधन ( calling ) के लिए : Hello ! , Ho ! , Hey ! , जैसे -

Hello ! what are you doing here ? Hello ! how are you ?

7 . ध्यान attention के लिए : Lo ! , Listen ! , Look Behold ! , Hush ! Hark . Shh ! , जैसे -

Hark ! someone cries . Hush ! my mother is asleep . Hush ! do not quarrel . Hush ! someone is coming . Hark ! somebody is knocking at the door .

8 . Goodbye को भी Interjection के रूप में प्रयोग किया जा सकता है । इसके अतिरिक्त Well भी Exclamation Marks के साथ वाक्य के आरम्भ में Interjection के रूप में प्रयोग किया जा सकता है , जैसे -

Goodbye ! have a nice time .

9 . धिक्कार व अफसोस आदि उद्गारों के लिए : Pooh ! , Sorry ! आदि का प्रयोग किया जाता है , जैसे -

Pooh ! you have again failed in the examination . Sorry ! I cannot lend you my book .

10 . कभी - कभी निम्नलिखित Parts of Speech का भी Interjections के रूप में प्रयोग किया जाता है , जैसे -

How nice of you to come ! ( Adverb ) If only I could be present there ! ( Conjunction ) To think of him as poor beggar going from door to door ! ( Infinitive ) Would it were eternal spring ! ( Verb )
